There is always something going on here at First UMC of Warren. We have partnered with MCREST (Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team), UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), Community Housing Network, Capuchin, and other organizations in our community and around the world. Together, we are doing the work of Christ.
Along with assisting other organizations in their work, we always having something going on here. In 2022, we put together over 150 layettes for struggling expecting mothers in our community, gathered over 300 hats, scarfs, and mittens to keep children in our schools warm, and provided meals for those in MCREST.
"Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ." 1 Corinthians 12:12
We are the body of Christ, made up of many parts, each with gifts and graces that can be used for the mission and the ministry of the church, and effective ministry requires the use of all those hands and all those gifts. Please know, there is a place for you to serve.
